Artists all around the world are in search of a canvas , a platform , a brush to pick up, a perfect location , a stage where they can portray themselves to the world .

In a big world like this , we all want to be appreciated, even if that's at a low note.

When you enter Mumbai, you don't just enter into a city, you enter a new sphere of life you never knew existed till now. It's known as the city of dreams because of a reason. And that reason can't be explained. It can only be felt in many ways through a beautiful city like this.

I went to Mumbai for my vacations to visit my parents and this holiday has been amazing in all aspects.

I got the real taste of Mumbai and it's culture.

Since I live in South Mumbai, also known as the heart of Mumbai, I have many amazing places at like two minutes walk away from my home.

I and my friend Rakshita put on our boho looks and got ready to explore the southern part of this dream city which is Colaba.

Colaba has a chain of amazing restaurants and Cafes scattered across, there is Marine drive where you can see people from all walks of life come and have a leisure time.

We went near Taj hotel , to gateway of India that stands tall with pride bearing the scars of all the incidents it witnessed since years.

After venturing around the places we decided to go for the most fun part which is definitely shopping , and that too the street shopping in Colaba.

It has a chain of shops selling jewelry, clothes, antique watches, and much more.

I bought few dresses and accessories , few casual tops and flats that too within 1000 bucks which is pretty economical.

You must definitely try the street shopping in Colaba the next time you visit this part of Mumbai.

And if you are thinking what you should be wearing on a street shopping spree then I would suggest you to go with a pair of shorts and casual tee, or a casual dress with sneakers, you can also trick a boho look with a casual one.

So what are you waiting for, it's time for your day out and shop till you drop.

THE C-FACTOR

Culottes and choker tops have suddenly bloomed out to be one of the hot shots in the glam world.

A choker top not only adds to the appeal  of the outfit but also enhances the collar region.

A choker top can never go wrong with a set of culottes.

You can choose your own pair from a range of culottes  i.e, stripes, denim, the flared ones,the open cup,transparent.

Same applies to choker tops too(Yes they come in a wide range too like off shoulder,lace choker tops,V neck choker tops and many more).
They come in a platter of colors to choose from.

Moreover the charm of your choker top is totally dependent on the way you elect to wear it.

You can team a choker top with culottes, straight- cut pants, flared skirt , boyfriend jeans  or shorts.

They are like a life saver when you are confused about what to wear on a casual outing .

Just put on a pair of culottes and a choker top and bang!

You are ready to rock the ramp with that sexy new look.

Remember to keep the makeup light to go in contrast with the bold outlook.

I opted to go with  this set of white choker  top and  blue flared  culottes from Missa More Clothing.

I choose to go with a golden cuffed bracelet and golden color studs

To render the outfit a glitter of touché ,confederate it with block heels preferably a nude or white color ones.

For my outfit I decided to go with my white block heels which are super comfortable plus trendy at the same time.

So wash away the summer blues with your hot C-factor!

                                                 -A lot can happen over burgandy

Burgandy is the talk of the town and with that I would like to sprinkle some light over the fact that burgandy has much more to it than just being a colour on your pallete.

There is so much to do with this colour , whether be it the colour of your outfit or an element in your makeup box.

The colour has its appeal and increases the oomph factor of any outfit .

I found this absolutely beautiful burgandy cold shoulder top in lifestyle and could not resist myself from buying it.

It also had this beautiful neckpiece to go with it.

I added a final touch to the outfit with these burgandy velvet boots which I found quite exquisite and unique.

Also since this outfit is apt for a proper outing to a cafe , I kept my makeup with a chocolatey tinge .

I am wearing Nykaa's Haute Fudge lipstick which I am absolutely drooling over.

I suggest you to checkout the new range of lip colours on Nykaa too.

CHAMKILA LEHENGA

-The lehenga trend just got more blingy.

The wedding season is near and you are on a hunt for that 'perfect'  outfit for the day.

Deciding a Wedding outfit is a constant banter in my head about whether to wear this outfit or just leave it out. Because probably then I would have found the outfit too blingy or too extravagant for the occasion. Besides the outfit, there is makeup which you ought to get on point.

Considering the above conundrums, I picked up this certain outfit that fits correctly into the occasion.

This particular lehenga which I refer to as 'the chamkila lehenga'  is one of my personal favorites.

The outfit embodies a dark green blouse with a velvety touch that imparts an ornate yet subtle look to it. The fuscia pink net dupatta maintains the delicate look of the outfit.

The sunny yellow colour lehenga has colourful attached latkans to it adding to the style quotient of my outfit.

The one thing which makes this outfit stand out among other ones is the colour play which renders a perfect blend of flirty look.

Also the golden border to the lehenga with the golden blingy stilletos fills up the extravagant appeal.

I blended  the light brown and golden shade of eye shadow (Maybelline nudes) and i am wearing Lakme 9 to 5 series pink colour lipstick to go with the lehenga.

I chose to wear these golden earrings with an intricate pattern.

 You can also team the outfit up with a delicate  bracelet or you can also revamp your look by wearing silver bangles which will add an interesting touch to your outfit.

So go ahead and flaunt the new you!

WEEKEND GETAWAY

Weekend getaways tend to be very spontaneous leading to an equally impromptu outfit. After all that’s what a getaway is. Right?

Inspite of that, there are  few handy hacks and outfits which can never go wrong for such endeavours.

Ready to take a look?

My recent and much needed getaway was to this beautiful town of Mahabalipuram situated near the southern tip of the Indian map.

I chose to embark my journey from the shore temple situated near the serene beach.

The temple has an intricate architecture and design which left me completely mesmerized. I was definitely tempted to get my picture clicked here.

The town makes you time travel to a place usually found in the pages of a history textbook.

Since you are going to a new place for exploring, make sure that you wear the right outfit. And by right outfit I mean a comfortable one.

Also since Mahabalipuram is a beachy  place, I chose to go with my favourite pair of these red Puma shoes. These shoes are the best choice to be worn as a part of a comfortable outfit.

I wore my red checks shirt on these dark blue denim shorts. Denim shorts are perfect for beaches and a check shirt renders a chic yet sexy look to your casual demeanour.

I bought this shirt from fashion street in Mumbai. It’s pocket friendly and stylish both at the same time.

The shirt can be tied up in a knot from below like I have done in the above picture. You can team your outfit with a really cool tattoo choker or an anklet .

Besides,these cute blue sneakers increase the fashion quotient of my outfit too.

Also I chose to drop my makeup kit and go bare faced because the sweat and heat can make your face look all messy .But I did take my Lakme sun protection cream along to avoid any skin damage.

Remember that to enjoy a trip you need to be comfortable with what you are wearing. It’s better to go with your instincts and know what will be your comfy choice.
